I am afraid you won't be able to stop your period at this time, or make it lighter. What wants to come out of your womb has been developing for 2 weeks, and there is only one way out!

I don't know what sanitary protection you usually use, but it sounds like your best option would be to use both tampons and towels together - the tampon does the main job, and if it does leak, the towel is there as backup.

It won't change your period (NOTHING can at this stage, not even the pill) but at least you shouldn't be too disrupted by trips to the loo...Suerte

There is of course no natural way to do this bar pregnancy. The 2 standard techniques which do work are either to run 2 pill packs together or use norithisterone.

sorry, but this is something we just have to live with. Other than by using birth control pills, there is no way to pick when you get your period, or make it lighter. Sucks doesn't it?

there is no possible way, (natural or with pills [no matter what anyone tells you]) to delay, shorten, lighten, get rid of, or stop your period. it just all has to do with your body, and its cycle. thats the thing with girls, your period always wants to show its ugly face when your on vacation, or camp or with your boyfriend or any time you actually want to enjoy..you cant. im sorry though hun.

Sorry girly, but I think youre out of luck. I really dont think theres a way to control it. I think its Motrin though that should help with cramps at least so you hopefully wont be so uncomfortable. Good luck!

if you're not looking for pills, then i dont know what you could do. birth control pills are supposed to be taken the first day of your cycle so that they'll usually be ontime, but thats all i know. i'm sorry. let nature take its course honey. good luck!!!!

You can't. Just make sure you have plenty of tampons or pads.
