Add 1 cup white distilled vinegar to the wash. Vinegar is the best deodorizer, plus it is inexpensive, it kills germs and most people already have it in their homes.

Or 1/2 cup borax, which deodorizes, disinfects, boosts your detergent's cleaning power and brightens fabrics.

You can add laundry borax (such as 20 Mule Team) found in the laundry isle, use a color safe bleach (such as Clorox 2), or simply double the dose of fabric softener in the rinse cycle! Also use dryer sheets. That should do it!
