I sure did! I remember when I first was turned onto it, Prince's 'Raspberry Beret' was played constantly. I asked my baby sister the other day (she's 25 by the way and I still call her my baby sister) why come MTV doesn't play videos any more? They only play reality stuff even MTV2 play an abundant of reality shows. What happened to the videos?

Yes, I remember - way back in time. I haven't watched MTV in years. I wonder if I've missed any videos?

I'm sure they did it all the time back in the 80's and 90's.... that was before MTV jumped on the reality TV bandwagon and overdid to give washed-up people another 15 minutes, (Nick and Aaron Carter, Nick Lachey) and put the never-was people on the scene to get noticed (Ashlee Simpson).

yeah, the good days.

they should really change it back. yes, the music scene these days sucks so that might be an excuse for the lack of music videos on that channel, but still they should make an effort to show at least a little bit more music then reality shows.

because its MTV, not gaypopularcultureandbadpointless realityshowsTV

Yeah. They showed some yesterday morning. Where are you from? They still do show videos in the morning. Do you ever watch MTV anymore? I do and I see some of the videos in the morning

I remember when it first came out. It was just about 24 hour music videos, wasn't it?

I think that was around the last time I watched it, too. All lip synched, not much for recorded live performances

Yea and I liked it! But now they mostly have reality shows. But they do play a lot of music really late at night, and I usually watch them if I am still awake. I hope this helps! =)

Yes, when they showed real videos, and the VJ was Martha Quinn. Those were the days.
