I have these 4 friends. We use to be close, but haven't really talk since an incedent took place a few weeks ago (they were working on a project without me- which wouldn't have made me mad. But I noticed that when they saw me in the distance they tried to act like they didn't see me. Which really irritated me and caused me call them out on their bluff by stoping to say hello to the Bit$%^ and wishing them well on the project). Now anyway- since then we haven't hungout or even really talked. So now my question is why do they still feel the need to talk about me behind my back? From what I know, not serious stuff, but they always seem to be trying to get into my business like indirectly making fun of my car my appartment, and lack there of social life. I never even asks about what these ho's are up to. so I don't unerstand why they care. Someone give me insight as to what there deal is?

I tried talking to them - like grown mature women. They said nothing was up. I wierd, I still act nice to them and they act nice back- but what is with the need to talk about me?

they are also attractive- and do have "nicer" stuff then me[ although I love most of my stuff- I work hard for it-- which I love). I give them that so I don't know if they are jealous.

abbycoolit- I know they were talking about me b/c I saw on of them look up at me before she mouthed something to the other 3. They then all started at what was infront of them inorder to avoid eye contact with me. I also know that they talk about me b/c 1)other people leak and tell me 2) they say stuff when I am around. I have also tried being the bigger person and talking to them but they claimed nothing was wrong.

It would appear from what you have written that you are jumping to, and have jumped to some wrong conclusions.You have not given any reason for you to feel that they were talking behind you.They could have been talking about their collective project when you felt they were pretending not to see you..As far as the other issues of your apartment ,car, and social life; where did you get your information from?How do you know they keep talking about you?Have you called them the very unflattering names you use here?My advice to you is to take a deep breadth, and analyze the situation in a fresh light.If there is a way that you can sit down with your former friends and resolve your issues ,then do it .If however, out of pride and/or ego you don't want to be the one to initiate the dialog, then ask a mutual friend to act as an intermediary. Even if you guys can't be as you were in the past , at least you can be civil and cordial to one another.Life is too short and you can't afford to waste it Besides, all of this could be one giant misunderstanding .Good luck.
