MY husband recently lost his job and we are behind on bills . we need help. WE are both looking for jobs, but we have not had an luck.HELP

There are advanced earned income credits you can apply for if your income qualifies you for the credit... unfortunately you have to be working to set them up by filling out a W-5.

There is no such thing as an advance from the IRS. Call the people you owe money to and explain the situation, maybe you can get a deferment on some of the bills for a couple of months, or pay interest only on credit cards, etc. Or go to Consumer Credit Counselers a government run no charge program to help you reduce interest and payments.
