Why did New Rock 102.1 The Edge change so much?

this is too anyone that lives in the DFW area

alot of my friends can back me up on this but...
102.1 used to be cool back when i was 7-14 years old
now im 15 and theres a lil too much emo and some country on there.

they have the old syle edge online
but why did they change thier radio style so fast?

They have to convince their advertisers that they are always changing to keep up with the times. And they probably found a satellite service that doesn't charge very much.
