Today my period was due, but it did not come. I work like clock work, but it's not here. My boyfriend is going to buy me a pregnancy test when he gets off of work today, what test should I tell him to get, I told him to get two, should we get two of the same kind of different? Also give me a brand that detects a low hcg.. thanks for the ideas!

I would suggest Clear Blue digital. No guessing. It either states Pregnant or Not pregnant.

EPT is usually pretty good and easy to read.

Remember that pregnancy tests CANNOT pick up on the hormones of pregnancy until at least 3 weeks gestation, and even then it's kind of hit or miss. So you might want to wait a couple more weeks and take another one if this one is negative, just to be sure.

I like Clearblue Easy. I have always gotten surefire, definite results with them, and they have never failed me. They also make a digital one that prevents that confusing thing with "the line is really light and I am not sure".
