Sorry about the negativity of some of the other answerers... What do you think? SOme of the stories seem pretty likely! Don't get your hopes up, but hope for the best!!! ;o)
Magic will show itself to you when it's ready, they're scared of people because... Well, look at what we've done to our planet... They live in remote places where we won't go!

Mythological creatures exist in a much more subtle realm of reality. Most of them don't think WE are real. I mean, really, a group of animals that spend their time and their lives typing questions and answers in front of an electronic box....that CAN'T be real, can it? No magic? No flying through the air? Preposterous!

look at it like this. you have 2 pc courses, the two very complicated. One interprets into 'legs', the different says 'wings'. Now think of somebody establishing the 1st application and randomly changing some numbers and fuctions. What are the opportunities that he might, randomly, have became application a million right into a precise replica of application 2? the opportunities are truly small. Thats why , understanding the pony exists, we are in a position to just about exclude the existence of a flying horse ( like pegasus). this might require the horses genes to have randomly replaced from heavy bones to easy bones, from 4 legs to 6 legs, and from 3 pairs legs 0 pairs wings into 2 pairs legs a million pair of wings and so on.

Myth means myth. It's not real.
Depends on what type of animal you're really talking about.
Say a winged horse, Pegasus, was never real. It was spoken of only in mythology. Myths are more like stories.

Before the year of 1842 the name dragon was a common word for fossil bones that were dug up or found. Since that time of when Richard Owen helped to change it we now call them dinosaurs. So I'd say yeah they are real.

Yes- there are many examples of species that have been uncovered to explain the past creatures. Some were exaggerated.
