If you go back just 4 or 5 decades, women were getting married and having children ant 12 and 13 years old. However there were reasons for that, life expectancy wasn't as long as it is now and the mortality rate for chilren was high. So they started younger just to ensure that they would have enough offspring to keep thier farm or family tree alive or whatever. I see no point in anyone having children that young today, not to mention someone would be breaking the law in such a young pregnancy.

one, from a biological standpoint, that young an age is entirely not ready for childbearing. there are a lot of complications involved in cases where the mother is very very young (emphasis on the 'very very').
two, from an emotional/psychological standpoint, neither is a 12 year old (any age below 21) ready for the responsibility of bearing and raising a child.
three, there is the question of finances. someone at this young age still needs adults to support her - whether it be parental units, guardians, other adult relatives.
four, it is illegal. even if the sex was consensual, someone is going to get charged with rape and go away for a long time.
five, at 12, 13, 14, 15, even at 16, girls this young should be enjoying themselves and their childhood/adolescence. Not by becoming pregnant and raising kids.
six, a baby is not like your doll. a baby will cry, spit, drool, pee, poo. it will not stay put in one place or stay in one position or pose like your dolls. realize that this is another human being we are talking about, not a doll.
seven, it takes a lot of maturity to go thru pregnancy and raise a child - something that a teenager is just starting to develop.
what's a good age? my mom told me after i finish school. i went and took medicine after my bachelor's degree. i got my license, started practicing... just starting to plan my wedding now. so about 30, is a good age to have kids.

i don't think that getting pregnant in your teens is a very good idea. some of the best parents i've seen are much older, laid back, & more experienced. i think that your mid-20's is a good age to be trying to conceive. if you think you MUST get pregnant young, being at least over 16 is a good idea. otherwise the obstacles you'll face are unimaginable. this is especially true if your family isn't supportive of you, b/c that means that you & (hopefully) the baby's father will be on your own from the time your family discovers you're pregnant. believe me, it's not easy to support yourself even without being pregnant. you have to account for living expenses (food, clothing, etc.), you bills (water, electric, etc.), & this is not even if you're expecting a child. you have other expenses to think about b/c you're pregnant. you have to have baby clothing, diapers, food, furniture, & not to mention the numerous doctor visits you'll NEED throughout your pregnancy. without them you can't be sure that you & your baby are healthy. these doctor visits can be quit costly without insurance, or even with.
i strongly suggest you wait until you have a high school diploma (or even a degree from your community college) & a steady job until you get pregnant. but if you must conceive before then, please, take all of this into consideration, & don't bring a baby into this world that you can't financially support.

none of those ages.
over 20 with a damn good job and an education. how the hell can a 12-15 year old support a child. your a child yourself you cant get a job your too young so how are you gonna buy diapers formula and clothes for a baby you cant get a clue little girl

NO! Twelve is not a good age to have sex. You shouldnt even be talking about sex at 12 years old! Sex is something only responsible adults should do. You are not responsible nor are you an adult. (In case you didn't know a legal adult is 18 years old.) Not to mention it is ILLEGAL. Any man having sex with you should be in jail because it is wrong.
Ask your father if its okay if you have sex.. and let him tell you what he thinks because I guarantee you he'll castrate any boy that comes near you!

I'd say at least over 18----12, 13, 14, 15 well those ages are entirely too young and not to mention very very illegal for anyone to be having sex with you......
