An outstanding athlete and one of the greatest women's tennis players ever. Called by some the "Jackie Robinson" of tennis, she was the first African-American player to participate on the world pro tour, won two U.S. Open and Wimbledon singles' titles and one French title, along with six Grand Slam doubles' titles.
