What do you mean by "undefined" slope? All the possible answers have a defined slope.
A) slope = 0
B) slope = infinity
C) slope = -2
D) slope = infinity

The general form of the equation is:

y = m (x + 2) = m x + 2m

When you plug in x = -2, you get:
y = m (-2 + 2) = m ( 0 ) = 0

m is any number, or infinity

The line is a vertical line because the slope is undefined. Therefore, the equation is x = -3.

B) x = -2 as the x-value is -2 and an undefined slope would imply that the line is vertical.

B) x=-2

Explanation: If a slope is undefined, the line is vertical, (i.e., there's more than one y value), so all of the values of x are the same. If x=-2 at the x-intercept, it's -2 everywhere else, too. (Answer B.)

Undefined line implies that no value of y can be computed from the line. So the line is x = -2.

undefined slope means the equation will be x = some number
(this is a vertical line)

Since we know x passes through (-2,0)
x = -2 is the equation of the line
