I only ask because she seems to get so much press coverage that I assumed she must have risen from the dead, like that Jewish guy did - and look at the press he gets!

to Sherry :-?

I have indeed lost a mother - and a child. My point is that the world is obsessed with a woman who was hyped by the press, hounded by the press and is still selling papers. She wasn't a saint, and not even a very good wife.
I fail to see what real difference she ever made, other than showing what a dull bunch our pathetic royal family are. Her death was a personal tradgedy for her family, but became a media circus (shades of Eva peron?) that has rolled on unabated ever since. Interesting to note how little coverage another death around the same time got - Mother Teresa of Calcutta.

to Quest?

You never heard of the Jewish guy who claimed he was the son of god and came back from the dead? I suppose it does seem a bit far fetched but some simple folk still believe it.

to Bama who wrote "And your thoughts on Elvis... what would they be?"

It is the politics of literacy that is keeping her alive.
I never rated her while she was alive. But she was a mother and to lose your mum is always distressing.
And obviously her death was all the more shocking because of the nature of the accident.
I think the time is long overdue to let her remain in peace.

Nah - she's pan bread. Do I detect a little bit of blasphemy there? Better watch it, I.O. - the Big Yin may well strike you down with a bolt of lightning!!

Edit: re blasphemy - it was a JOKE re the reference to the "Jewish guy".

I also think we'll stop hearing so much about Diana when the inquest into her death is finally over. Better late than never I suppose. In saying that I do find it VERY surprising that, given Diana's position (mother of the future king) this wasn't finished with years ago. No wonder there's conspiracy theories!

As for Mother Teresa I read an article not long ago (it was on the web somewhere, but can't remember what it was called). Anyway, seems that Mother Teresa of Calcutta wasn't as white as she was painted i.e. she wasn't a SAINT. ALLEGEDLY, loads of abuse went on in her orphanages and they are also (allegedly) worth MEGABUCKS - dosh that doesn't reach the sick and needy! I'll check for the article later and edit.

I'm not sure on this one. A family member who worked as a MI6 bodyguard for royals and politicians told me 20 or so years ago that all the royals and the prime minister had one or more doubles, many enhanced by plastic surgery.

This was probably true of diana, though i'm not sure about dodi al fayed. So there could be truth in the story that diana didn't die, she was switched for her double, who died 'in her place'. Prince phillip and top security services people are the only ones who know of her current location, though stories have circulated that, after enforced plastic surgery, she is held on a small island in the pacific ocean.

Lady Diana Spencer is not in today. If it serves the BALANCE this bio-shell typing now would comment.

Ms. Spencer was and is a very fierce female and if the "light show, where did it go" song and dance is enough for you, very well. There are gates of pure transcendent energy that can be used by initiates to aid in the war between Space and Time to further the law of altruistic endeavor. Ms. Spencer is just the type of lass that would make an excellent Immortal and if that gal made it, Good on Her.

James Dean,Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley,Bruce Lee,there are more but,all of these people died in unusual circumstances and they will always be remembered simply because they died relatively young and for how they died.As for her not being a good wife, wasn't that ol' jug ears who started that off by screwing that thing that later became home wrecker to the Prince of Wales. The tragedy of the princess of Wales was how the royal family treated her and that was as a brood mare and after fulfilling her role as that, they allowed HRH Jug Ears to go sniffing around some ambitious whore who looks as though she should be saddled up for a show jumping competion.

Diana is physically dead of course, but she is still alive in the minds of millions of people she touched with her spirit.
Diana is the victim of her circumstance. She married a tudor who have a blood line..basterdised from way back in the middle ages, and who still see it their right to bed anyone they please.
Most of the 'royal families' around europe are 'family'.
They can only breed amongst themselves to keep the blood 'blue'!
God save US.

Well if she is not then a lot of mugs have paid out a lot of money for nothing, how embarrassing if she suddenly turned up and it was some sort of double who died in her place, unlikely but all these parasites have doubles.

Princess Diana is dead, she gets publicity because she was part of the British Royal Family, she was inspirational helping where she could e.g. going to third world countries helping the sick and poor, opening hospitals. This was part of her royal obligation.

I hope this explains it for you
