Liberals were never patriotic, They sow dissention, and malice, They embrace all that is deviant and abnormal, Their pipedream of a utopia resembles sodom & gomorrah rather than the United States. They claim to be "progressive" and "free thinkers" yet fail to produce anything that is actually progress. The y preach "tolerance" yet cannot get past the "I hate Bush" mantra. The oppose the exectution of mass murderers and terrorists, yet butcher the unborn, under the guise of"choice". While claiming to be pro choice, they oppose those that choose life. The openly embrace anything that goes against mainstream America, all the while longing to become more like france. While worshipping at the shrine of michael moore, the show utter disdain for America and all that She stands for. Truly, these are not patriots at all.

Conservatives celebrate Independence day, then want to take away all of our rights under the constitution, including free speech!

And on Memorial day what do conservatives do, take a long weekend, get drunk and fry a few burgers. Most have never seen a vet who fought in a war, and almost none of them have attended a Memorial Day parade, visited the VA hospital, visited an old soldiers home!!

I celebrated at least 1 Independence day in combat! How about you?

Can you think of a better way to express patriotism than to exercise the freedoms given us by the founding fathers? It was Thomas Jefferson who said, "Dissent is the highest form of patriotism", and I for one take that very seriously. Whether you spend your fourth of July grilling in the backyard and watching the fireworks or attending a rally and an art show, we are all Americans, and we all deserve to have our voices heard. I personally think this is a wonderful way to express patriotism, and has deeper meaning than simply flying the flag or singing the national anthem.
