I recommend Breathing Paris by Erin Headley. Although it is a more serious book, there is some humor. There is definitely romance. There are sex scenes, but the author does not go into much detail. The characters are very easy to relate to and it is very difficult to put down. Everyone I know who has read it has liked it. For more info., you can go to www.erinheadley.com.

Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts
It's a GREAT STORY about a convict who escapes jail in Australia and goes to India. He opens a health clinic in a slum and joins the black market. There is a lot of adventure, a quick pace, an underlying love story, and though it is a novel it is really close to the true life story of the author.
Incidentally, Johnny Depp will be playing in the movie version of this book to be out next year. Check it out. Don't be daunted by the # of pages.

When I was a teen I searched for books on sex, which was frowned on. The first thing anyone has to do is to decide is this something I want to read and more over is it something I want people see me reading? Most of the books are trash which they were in my day. They're a few but not knowing your ideas, I will not tell you.

The Dan Brown books such as 'DaVinci Code' and 'Angels and Demons' are amazingly fun reads and keep you glued. Trust me I'm a teenager and I loved these books.
