Mine is average. The lisp is common among gay men but not all of us have it.

First of all only some gays are effeminate with high voices.
To best answer you question, go to a middle school and see how the children talk. You will notice that some of the children have hi-piched voice and behave more effeminate. Those children are gay.

Some gay men have deep voices.

Ok, I am a first tenor/second soprano, so, naturally, since I sing all the time, my voice is high. I do not practice or make it that way, it just is. That has nothing to do with being gay, though, fems do tend to lean towards "high" pitched voices.

You need to go to a convention (or bar) of gay men. The voice range is normal for men - the one's with higher voices are mostly an affectation.

Just more proof its a genetic thing. I've heard a 10 year old talking in that voice with the lisp... you could already tell. People who say it's a descision you make are crazy.
