You should go. Pay respects, give the family some support. It will mean the world to them that you came. They are going through a tough time and need the support.

Attending a funeral is done to show your respects to his family. If you knew him and wish to tell his family you are sorry for their loss then you should go. If you did not know him then you should not. You do not need an invitation to attend a funeral.

You definitely don't need an invitation. It's a nice way to pay your respects. You don't have to have been close to the person...it's just a way to support the family. It makes them feel good to know that their loved one was well-liked in their community. It might help you to work through some feelings you're probably having about it too. Even if you weren't close, I know that young people often have a difficult time when someone their own age dies because it makes them think about their own mortality. (Happened to me when a friend in college died in a car wreck....in addition to my grief, I was just really freaked out for quite awhile)

You don't need an invitation. Do what is in your heart. The family will appreciate you coming, no matter how close you were or weren't.

I am sorry for your loss. Thank you for being so kind as to think about whether it would be right to go or not.

No you don't need an invitation. Funerals are for the living. They help the grieving process. If you are not grieving, then you don't "need" to go. The next question is: "do you want to go?

Go to his funeral. Closure is what you need. Something like this once happened to me and I missed the funeral and I NEVER got closure. It'll be good for you emotinally. good luck

Death is the only thing in life that we cannot conquer and it really sux, you don't need an invitation to go, but do it because your heart tells you to , to show respect for this boy that you knew, don't worry about who else is going or not, do it for yourself and for tthe respect you have for him, and to show comfort to his family in their time of sorrow and loss.

The humorous tale is going like this: individual A says: "do you realize who killed Soulja Boy?" individual B says: "i do no longer understand, who killed Soulja Boy?" individual A says: "YOU!!!" and factors at individual B whilst doing that little dance step from the video...
