We shouldn't have to explain that. Look at Iraq, the federal budget, the national debt, the dumb period. Let's throw in Scotter Libby.
And the Reps wanted to remove Clinton from office for a b*** j**? Hell, if it increases the quality of government, maybe that should be one of the perks!

Ok, I will share my point of view which I am sure will upset alot of people but I will take that chance. A lot of people hate Bush because of what he has done to America. He lied to go to war in Iraq, he gave the richest 1% a tax break while the middle class, which really does not exist anymore, will have to foot the bill. We are spending all our money on a war we should not be involved in instead of spending it at home to improve our education system and healthcare and he has managed to divide a country that really needs at this time to come together and make America as strong as it was in the past. Plus he is a bumbling idiot.

I wonder this, too. I can understand people having grievances against him, but in my opinion, he is likable as a person (I can't believe I just said that)...
I think psychologists could actually do a study into the human psyche to try to answer this question. I don't know why people *hate* him, although I do see how one could disagree with him... and even strongly disagree.
Clinton lied to America, and even though conservatives made fun of him and acknowledged he lied to the public, they still didn't *hate* him so passionately. And Bush hasn't even been found to have lied once.
I wonder this a lot, so I'm right with you.. I don't know if we'll ever know.
P.S. Liberals are hateful in general, and that's another thing I don't understand. They are supposed to be the "compassionate" side, but they are certainly not.

He doesn't listen to his commanders, fires them instead.
Sets up secret CIA torture prisons outside the US.
Violates the constitution and almost all of out treaties, including the Geneva Conventions and the NPT.

When I travel oversees I am now embarrassed to say I am an American. It did not use to be that way. It GWB is a moron who can't speak a clear sentence and yet hold the highest position in the world. 95% of the worlds population and 72% of the US pop can't all be wrong. If someone does like Bush, even they are too embarrassed to admit it except on the internet.

Someone the other day mentioned the Neo-cons and how the GOP had been taken over by the (Texas) "big oil" cartel. Food for thought. If you look at Bush's presidency from that viewpoint, his actions and lack of action on so many issues begins to make sense. He does only what serves the interests and profits of the major oil companies and their suppliers and subcontractors. About anything else he could care less.
It's all about power and profit for his (real) elitist constituents, and nothing about the overall best interests of the US or the majority of her people. He got elected by a fraudulent presentation of his goals and beliefs, and got us into the Iraq war on fraudulent grounds.
Do you still wonder why most people now can't stand him? The only favorable thing I can say is that Cheney is even worse.

I don't hate Bush. Hate is just too strong an emotion. I dislike many of the things he's done for the country, like ignoring the 9/11 warnings, getting us into an unwinnable war in Iraq, and pushing for the immigration bill to name a few. But I don't personally hate him.

In see, when the people complained he made bad decisions you didn't know what they were talking about. And when they
mentioned 'this crap about war' you weren't sure what war they were talking about.
Why do I hate Bush?
He has constantly lied about nearly everything since he got his first election rigged.
In the days after 9/11 he did the direct bidding of the Bin Laden family and got them all out of the US when even American citizens were not being allowed to fly.
He and his henchmen got us into a mess in Iraq by LYING.
He claimed he was going to fix the educational system. But this was, you guessed it, a lie.
He claimed he was going to give money to Africa to combat AIDS, but this turned out to be a LIE.
He claimed his environmental policy would be one of clean skies, but then permitted more pollution than ever.
In the last election, he and his brownshirts actually made people sign loyalty oaths if they attended Republican events.
That's loyalty oaths! You get those in nazi regimes... nowhere else.
But mostly I hate Bush because he is a puppet of someone utterly without remorse, a man named Cheney, who has sold out his country for the sake of his cronies profits.
Now you go: why do you love him? Do you?
Please enlighten us. But of course don't talk about 'this crap about war'... What war, what lies... gosh it must be comforting to be completely blind.

He doesn't fund the No Child Left Behind Act, which would benefit our children.
He and Cheney are known to keep secrets from the American people.
The Healthcare system is suffering, but the Bush administration does NOT care. He continues to syphon money from hospital budgets.
The Bush administration is slowly, but surely, depleting our funds towards social security.
The Bush administration has spent nearly $1 TRILLION, all in all escalating hatred towards the United States worldwide.
Shall I go on?
