I dont get the nature of your criticism. Are you bashing Mormons, calling their men sensitive and feminine... or are you praising their men for their compassion and sensitivity?
We are all human, male or female, capable of the same emotions. I find it funny how feminists promote women while maintaining the image of their distinction from men... instead of showing equality and sameness. You want men to embrace women for their masculine sides, as you are equal to men... but few of you embrace a mans feminine side.
A lot of you believe in equal legal rights and being capable of the same things as men... but a lot of you still dont believe in social equality... that men are not capable of the same things as women. A lot of you put women on a higher pedistol than men.
Which only leads to yet another fundamental issue. The idea that emotion and beauty are inherently feminine. They arent! They are inherently human... inherently humane. Gender unspecific. Only our society has defined masculine from feminine traits, not human nature... and adhering to those stereotypes only promotes them, reinforcing the prejudices we are trying to avoid.
My point is simply that there is no reason for you to mention this at all... unless you are criticizing the religion itself as any bigot would.

Yes. It's refreshing to see a man emotional about something. Proof that men are human just like women. Our society is so, a man isn't a man if he cries. I think with that mentality it takes more courage for a man to be emotional. Better to cry because you love the Lord, have faith, love your wife, or are grateful than your sports team winning or losing or something like that.

Many times. But what do you mean by 'a lot'? Compared to what? And so what? The times I saw, it was for things worth tears.

OH, yes, our bishop in particular and I see NOTHING wrong with it. He was the Young men's president before he became bishop and my boys were part of his Young Men, and they loved him and he loved them, because every time he speaks of them, he gets all teary and everything. That tells me that he truly loves them.
