Differs from state to state.

Generally the landlord has to give you an eviction notice delivered in-hand (for cause) and when you fail to move, he has to file with the court for a legal eviction. You are allowed to be heard, if you show up, and then the judge usually gives you time to move unless the landlord is violating the lease.

Isn't it interesting that leases never say what the landlord is required to do!

You don't have any. You got evicted for not paying rent or not following the rules (or both). Pack up your crap and leave.

all they have to do is give notice,,,,the time you have to leave is different depending on where you are
