I followed her advice because she has a good heart and really understood the emotional content of a situation, but I ended up really embarrassing myself in a big way - I just keep asking myself, "why did you follow her advice when you knew in your heart it was not the best thing to do?" Does anyone have any insight as to how to make yourself feel better when you do something stupid?

I am the Queen of Doing Something Stupid!!! Just laugh it off, if possible. So you made a fool of yourself; it probably won't be the last time. Admit to the parties involved that you erred in judgement and apologize if necessary, then simply move on. You can't live beating yourself up over an error. People make BIG boo-boos every day! Good luck dear and keep your head up!!! Nana

You could always trick someone else into doing something even MORE stupid than what you did. That's what I do....

I pull out my favorite and most well worn mantra and keep repeating it over and over and over....well you get the idea.

My favorite, if you are interested, is.....

"This too, shall pass."
