The liberal media has conveniently archived this story. If it has been one of the President's daughters they would be all over it like flies on a rib roast.

First I am a Conservative.
Second, lt's leave this whole thing alone. If the kid is an addict, let's all pray for him to find recovery.
Addictiction does not care who you are, what party you are in, or how much money you have. And it is the #1 health problem in America for ages 18-29.
Recovery is a *****, and it usually takes several tries.
Bush's daughters went thru similar things and are now school teachers.
Let's hope he can come out of this and be an example also.
Let's not make addiction and recovery a Political issue, as some ignorant people did with Bush's daughters.

It has been in the press, I've seen several stories about it. I'd say that it has gotten about as much coverage as the Bush girls antics (although they seem to have grown-up quite nicely into responsible young women.) Or Noelle Bush's brushes with drugs and the law.
The Bush girls were know for hitting the DC club scene and drinking when they were underage, but it never made the papers because it wasn't actually news. People knew because they kinda stuck out with the Secret Service agents and all.
Also, it was Al Gore, III who was arrested for drugs. Al Gore, Jr, the former VP, is in DC to host a concert at the National Museum of the American Indian.

Thinkforyourself got it right. Why is this a political issue this is a young man with a drug problem like thousands of others Republican and Democrat alike across the country. He needs help, some punishment, care and a lot of prayers

Al Gore Jr. has never been arrested for drugs, he was the vice president.
Al Gore III has.
I don't know what media you use but it's been all over the press from what I've been seeing..

There's no conspiracy. It's a personal issue despite what the radio conservatives want to make of it.
Parents shouldn't have to apologize for what their adult children do.

I don't care what sons and daughters of political figures do, especially if they are independent adults. It's really a non-issue.

It was fun to make jokes about it for a day or two, but in reality it is a sad situation.

since he went into rehab (sent into rehab by daddy), he probably won't even face criminal charges, watch.
and yes, if the lieberal media bias was not obvious enough, this should prove it. also,a stoned, pill popping rich boy traveling at 100mph, endangering lives, would never get anywhere near oralmann's "worst person in the world", unless he is a republican.
