Right!
Just get business out of their pockets and have them take a GREED test! And not allow them to work for ANYONE they ever had a financial dealing with!
We should also finance all presidential elections, no money from the outside, no soft money! They have to do it on what we give them!
It is a shame when you put a greedy president and vice-president, ex CEO of Haliburton, and let big oil write your energy policy behind closed doors!

Here's the problem with that: for some reason these guys will spend $10 Million to get into a $200,000 a year job. Obviously they're getting some perks to make up for that missing $9,800,000.
My suggestion is we elect Ron Paul, adhere to the Constitution (i.e. "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."), and have the judicial branch over toss out Congressional acts that aren't explicitly enumerated in the Constitution.
Simply, we must restore states' rights. Local government is accountable government, for local government is comprised of our community and neighbors.
"Resistance to tyranny is obedience to God." Vote Ron Paul.

Minimum wage is too little. We'd have to give them Food stamps and medicaid too.
It makes more sense to pay them twice the median income for the last reported year. That gives them enough to live on while still providing an incentive to promote General Prosperity.

Kill every lobbyist and every corporate contributor to each party. Naw, just kidding. Just illegalize lobbying and corporate contributions to election campaigns. If it is the people's government and we want it back, the people need to pay for the elections ourselves through our taxes, otherwise it's not our government.

yes...
sounds great...
let's outlaw lobbying too.
Then maybe we can get some good legistlation because it's the right thing to do, not because it's the profitable thing to do.
