He dug up a tulip bulb, tasted a few bites and left it setting on a rock in the garden. His underground mansion is nearby. That was kind of bold of him, don't you agree?

LOL, well being an animal lover myself, when I find these critters causing trouble in my garden I put out a have a heart trap (you can rent one from home depot if you dont have one) and I catch them to set them free elsewhere. If you do decide to do this then make sure to drive atleast 10 miles from your house to release them in because they can find their way home with in that 10 miles. I hate it when chipmunks or other critters get in the garden, but as far as I am concerned "outside" is their home and they are doing what they need to survive. Good luck with your chipmunk problem!!!! :)

Time to sprinkle some cayenne pepper around the garden. Next year, after you plant, lay down some chicken wire. Then mulch over it. The plants can grow through easily, but ouch... that little sucker's paws won't like that wire barrier.

Would you care to borrow my great huntress cat, Psycho Sybil?
Her fame as a ruthless killer is spreading far and wide. She single handedly wiped out the gopher population of my entire 1.25 acre yard within a mere 2 summers.

I hear they love peanut-butter-coated stuff. Put some out, and once he starts to eat, blow his brains out! ... Wait, you wouldn't want to be stuck with THAT, now would you? I think not! Sorry, no suggestions.
