Try using a dryer brush and clean out the lint trap. I usually do this every 6 months. After using the brush, use a shop vac or a regular vaccum to get out the loose pieces that didn't come out.

The part of your electric dryer that makes the heat is a long spring looking wire. It takes 240 volts to operate it. So it could be bad or you may have a bad 240 breaker in your breaker box. If you are not experienced in electricity, please have some one who is to check it out. You will need a volt/ohm meter to check it.

Make sure it is plugged in. Make sure there is electricity to the outlet. If the juice is on, the heating element may be burned out.
