If someone who is 10 times more rich then Vince Mcmahon decides to start a wrestling promotion in the US
do u think he will be able to beat Vince in his own game
my personal opinion, Its possible but very hard because all the pro wrestlers who happen to the biggest star are Ex wwe stars or wwe rejects and it took 27 yrs for him to establish wwe worldwide
what do u think

Well...in the beginning, I think it would be an uphill battle. Whoever did this would have to find away to set themselves apart from WWE, TNA, and all of the indy promotions as well. Otherwise, it may not be around long, regardless of how much money they have.

A good thing is that if you have even more money than WWE, you could raid the talent pools of both WWE and TNA...even some of the other internationally known promotions if you choose to do so.

Bottom line, I think sucess would be possible.

actually I would love to see a company compete with Vince I think they would both do very well all I can say is WCW when turner got WCW big time and started taking wrestler from WWF(at the time that is what is was called) that is the period of time when Wrestling was most entertaining. Would keep Vince on his toes and make for better story lines and better wrestling. The WWE needs a actual competitor for them to be great not just good maybe TNA will get there someday but right now they are not even in the same stadium as WWE let alone on the field competing with WWE.

I think this promoter could spend a lot of money advertising, putting out high-quality hype videos for his superstars, and maybe even just add something different, some spectacle or gimmick, that would make people take a second glance.

I do agree, the thing keeping Vince on top of the wrestling world monopoly is star power, but you have WCW guys, you have ex WWE guys, you have open contract legends, and a lot of popular independent people as well that could draw an audience.

Then again, I think the major thing a promotion needs is a hook. Star power aside, you can make stars over night. Goldberg and DDP prove that. They don't even have to be talented, just entertaining and charismatic. Take Bob Sapp for example. The man's a crappy MMA fighter and wrestler, but he's over like Hogan in Japan because of his ability to build a hype around himself with his natural charisma. If anything was proven by Bobby Lashley this year, it's that talent and charisma aren't necessarily things needed to get over.

I think if someone came out with better production, good touring, an unsplit roster, and higher production than WWE came out that they could give the E a run for their money.

I think there is a possibility, all they have to do is hire someone to show him/her the ropes then they can learn from there and since they are richer than Vince they could even hire WWE stars(the guys who are rarely used) because money does talk!!!

I bet the company would do pretty good. Having more money than Vince is very good for the company and everyone who is left WWE went to TNA. I think people would leave TNA and go to that company.

NWO isn't unique the two. It got here from NJPW. The nWo storyline replaced into an theory WCW government vice chairman Eric Bischoff got here up with after attending New Japan professional Wrestling's conflict Formation practice on the Tokyo Dome on April 29, 1996. tale strains are constantly reused and recycle.

im not quite mature..

but i think it would be hard. vince is a great buisnessman.
and i think that the people who tried to do what youre saying
would probably end up in a "tna situation"..you know..ended up lower than the wwe. but hey! like you said..its possible..

Ted Turner had more money than Vince when he took over WCW.
Not to sound sarcastic, but how'd it work for him?
Having a boatload of money when you start a company does not guarantee its success. It's the business plan and its implementation that matters most.

IT WOULD TAKE MONEY AND NEW TALENT AND SOME OF WWE STARS TO MAKE THIS NEW WRESTLING BRAND WORK. IT WOULD BE HARD BECAUSE, IN GENERAL PEOPLE DO NOT LIKE NEW THINGS THAT THEY DO NOT KNOW ALREADY. THE FANS WOULD HAVE TO GET USE TO THIS NEW WRESTLING BRAND. WWE HAS FANS THAT HAVE BEEN FANS FOR DECADES AND ARE LOYAL FANS SO THEY PROBABLY WOULD NOT QUIT WATCHING WWE FOR THIS OTHER BRAND. IT IS POSSIBLE BUT IT WOULD MOST LIKELY TAKE ALOT OF MONEY, GREAT WRESTLERS, GREAT COMMENTATORS, GREAT STORYLINES, AND YEARS OF HARD WORK FOR THIS NEW WRESTLING TO BE SUCSESSFUL.

Vince will forever hold his reign over wrestling. Even his son seems ready for the spotlight.
