I have a notebook and the only way to connect my firewire video camera would be with special adapter from USB to female firewire. Does anyone know a link to web site where I can purchase something like that ? Or what is it called so I can ask for it somewhere ? Thanks

There Are Websites That Have USB To Firewire (IEEE 1394) Adapters But, I Have Serious Doubts About How Effective They Are. USB Uses A "Packet" Or "Pulse" Type Of Interface Which Uses Less Computer Resources And Allows For Error Correction. "Firewire" (IEEE 1394) Uses A Continuous Stream Of Data Which Is Perfect For Capturing Video Without Causing "Lost Frames" And Out-Of-Synch Audio But Here Is A Web Site Good-Luck!
