It must be great to be a Criminal in Britain... they seem to be getting away with Murder - literally...us hard working taxed to death joe soaps are getting humped..f'uck it.. I am going to do a bit of shoplifting tomorrow - if they can get away with it then so can I..

The Police in Scotland are not hopeless - they risked life and limb to save the lives of two wouldbe car bombers at Glasgow airport. I've seen film made by a Hungarian tourist, unseen on TV until yesterday 6th July 07. I have nothing but high praise for [I assume] the Glasgow Police for their bravery, knowing only too well that a bomb could have gone off while they were doing their rescue.

All to easy to say 'burn baby burn' and just let the bombers die. But that's not how it works. If you can save at least one of these men, this might lead to others of the group not already captured etc.

You've got to have your head screwed on to be a copper today and you've got to be brave and work as a team in what I think are the most difficult of circumstances. A copper today is on the 'front line', doing it for us.

All we have to do is sit back with can of beer in hand and snort at the TV set.

The film taken by this unknown Hungarian tourist is not pretty. The police said they were amazed that one of the bombers even survived the massive burns 90% he received. The other bomber tried to resist arrest and was pepper sprayed. There's footage of him covering his face, he seemed largely unhurt.

It's all too easy to blame the 'fuzz', they have a difficult enough job without us taking the piss.

You forgot to mention 'binge drinking', 'drug taking' and all the other 'bad' things us Brits do, including the Mud Fest and now the Global Warming Fest etc.

On the subject of 'bent' politicians - I'd just like to point out that we are all 'bent', especially when it comes to tax evasion or tax avoidance.

Where I live, in London, an estimated 80% of the economy is classifed as the "Black Economy". Trade and enterprise from which no tax is paid or collected and about which the Revenue can do nothing.

Who then is involved in this "Black Economy"? Why the middle classes; who else?

If you call a plumber to fix a broken pipe, do you do all the paper work, pay by cheque, get a receipt etc?

Probably you do what most folk do, pay in cash! No tax.

They are also on the top as far as health care when we are in the 30's, 1 above Cuba! We let people bleed to death in Emergency rooms, lying on the floor for 45 minutes while doctors and nurses stepped over her dying body, and we love to give the sick who are in hospitals taxi rides to the ghetto and throw them out of cabs, then try and blame the cab driver!

lets face it when our youth cant speak english the highlite on telly to most people is bloody big brother.we cant smoke in our cars we get fined everywhere .the natives of this country are not allowed to speak out without being sacked from work.these limp wristed idiots in government who never have to walk the real streets .the immigration problem is getting completely out of hand .wherever they get their figures from they should find another source.check out the eastern european number plates on cars better cars than i can ever afford .my two adult sons are struggling to get good jobs or finding an apprenticeships.building sites carwashes street corner mess your windscreen ups.take a walk down the old kent road.we are doomed we are about to lose control of our own country.i have voted labour all of my adult life .sorry not next time.i love all peoples of the world but this is my country my ancestors have died in two world wars and for what have they died in vain?this is not a colour thing its about living in england and respecting our culture our traditions our way of life if you dont like it then go somewhere else.

I agree with cantcu, i have noted that anything adverse, immigration, homelessness, drugs, mugging, armed robbery, fraud, political greed, and more, was prevalent in the states before it became prevalent here, if i noticed, why did'nt the authorities notice and use preventative measures?
