Shop, you really see how nit picky people are. Some have style and some don't. Some will buy and some won't. Shopping makes some happy and fills a void in their life. Others just go out to people watch and walk. I like window shopping the best. I look and don't buy, watch all the strangers go by.

I like to watch children. They are so honest and so amazed by the world around them. It always makes me smile to just sit someplace and watch as the children go by.
Raising my kids was a blast because I had the daily pleasurre of watching something amazing happening, children becoming themselves.

I'd say there's not one thing I like to watch them do- but there are certain places that have more fun people to watch. Liek Summerfest and the Renaissance Faire. Freaks of all kinds! :)

Try to parallel park in a tight space. It is sometimes beyond funny. It makes me want to improve my driving (and parking) skiills.
There a couple of hilarious vids on youtube showing the utter frustration and futility of some of these attempts.
On the not-cruel-humour front, I love seeing a couple holding hands who are obviously in love with one another. I've seen it with young and old, rich and poor and beautiful and plain.
It lightens my heart to see 'that look' in their eyes.... yeah, I'm a softie.

Dance, especially elderly couples, like at weddings; they just look so "good" together, weathered and comfortable, like they fit together, it's heart warming to see. Like Redwood trees, even though their old they look sturdy and strong. It's beautiful and reassuring, and just so sweet and touching to see. It makes me want to be part of an "old couple" some day.
