Today is not his day! He got a speeding ticket for 61 in a 35! The cop was sitting in the parking lot of the church he used to be the pastor of!! Our kids used to say "Dad, turtles are passing us on the right!" lol Just thought I'd share. And he got NO points!

Grampa was driving thru Pennsylvania doing 80. The officer asked him why he was driving so fast. He replied "The sign back there said '80' ". The officer explaind "That's not the speed limit...that means it's "interstate 80" ". Grampa said "It's a good thing you stopped me before I got to Route 220!"

Hmm well 61 is slightly over the speed limit in a 35 zone... but that sucks anyway.

Sounds like he and God really DO have a relationship! Ha! Actually, this reminded me of the time we got out of church and everyone was on the lawn talking and we got into the car, made a turn, and my hubby had a cop with lights on him immediately...using the PA system from the patrol car...the officer said (with all church members listening/watching) "get out of your car and come back to the patrol car" sooo embarrassing. today it is done differently...you stay IN the car! Thanks for jogging a memory! ha!

He shouldn't have broken the law, and then none of that would have happened. You must live in a very small place if he got no points from this.

WOW!! What was his hurry??? And you"re a preacher's wife??? Man, THAT has to be a thankless job. You have my sympathy. Preacher's wives seem to do all the work and get so little appreciation for it.
