While I claim to be liberal, what I am looking for are conservatives who use REAL information, unfiltered information ( as in not watered down so it can be interpreted in any number of views)
I’m not doubting at all that liberals do the same thing in here but as I am a Liberal why get the same old political spin on things that I can get from my other sources. What I am looking for is the ability to engage with other people who don’t necessarily agree with my point of view. In doing so I may just learn something.. I may change my viewpoint if I were able to converse with those people. I cant do that when it seems that the only thing I’ve seen here are a lot of children that seem only to care about turning this into nothing more than a rubber room by throwing insults and pushing loaded questions.
So I ask again, who among you Conservatives are willing to chance an opportunity to have an adult conversation with enough open-mindedness to allow someone who does not agree to respond.

Go back and look at my answers and questions. I'll give you an honest, non-bias, conservative (somewhat independent) answer to anything you want. Please don't generalize conservatives or liberals for that matter. That's the main reason our country has become so polarized. With that being said, I love a good debate and I'm man enough to know that my opinion is not always right and it's good to hear what other people have to say.

Count me in!!! Though I don't believe that there is such a creature as a non-biased person. People are passionate about their beliefs, whatever they may be, and get frustrated that others aren't swayed so easily to their way of thinking. Consequently, you have people that resort insults as a last option for those who are not swayed (which is everyone). Personally, I believe that as soon as the insults start, any chance of people seriously considering what you have to say is lost.

Sure. For instance, every time I see a liberal post some dreck about Reagan supplying Saddam with the chemical weapons he used on the Kurds and the Iranians, I helpfully send them to the Sipri.org website where there is very nice documentation on who armed Iraq with what.
Believe me, it's not just conservatives trying to pass off ridiculous stuff around these boards as fact.

For the most part (notice I will not make a typical blanket statement) it seems the "conservative" posters here are here only to rattle cages, or troll.
Yes there are liberals that do it too, but the Conservative trools far out number the Liberal ones here.

There is no such thing a non-biased conservative. It is only the remarkable ability of liberals to filter out the inconvenient truth that would make someone conclude that conservatives don't answer questions.

The problem is, you could not HANDLE THE TRUTH. If you could, you would not be a liberal. That's how they cope in this cruel world; they create fairy tales to make themselves look better, to look smarter (such as by saying they have a PhD in History!)
You need to read good books; start out by reading "The Closing of the American Mind", which is what liberals do.

I agree my freind, while I cant agree with some of the liberal issues. I would like to have sensable conversation on some of the big topics.. I find the name calling and constant bashing to be annoying sometimes. It is very immature..

I think there is more liberal bashing questions than there is conservative bashing questions. These questions are flooding this section and to be frank it's annoying.
