ive noticed occasionally that people in cars are sitting outside my house using their laptops. i have wireless broadband. are these people using my internet and if so is it a big risk?

most likely they are ... no real risk involved if you don't want them to use it you can enable encryption and it will make them enter a key.. you can also access your router and see who is using it

Usually no big deal for a residential setting but it is a risk nonetheless. Turn on WEP is enough to throw a wrench into their leeching.

yes they are prob using it if you are broadcasting your wireless name and are unsecured


a big risk, prob not, they just want free internet to check their email
