I just adopted a female cattle dog mix. She is petite, almost built like a whippet and is so beautiful with all different colors on her...black, tan, dark brown, grey/blue, and white. I want to name her something artsy (b/c I am an artist). Any suggestions? Perhaps a greek, hebrew, or latin word that means "colorful"? or "multi-colored"? or "painted"? Something along those lines...

How about "Irisdis"? It means "rainbow" in Latin.

I also really like the name "Lydia". It's not Latin, but I always thought it was a really cute name for a female dog.
