...hands down, Quentin Tarantino, at his very best, was his first film, "Reservoir Dogs"; although based significantly upon Ringo Lam's classic Asian cult crime story, "City on Fire", it was still Quentin's most viceral, raw and literarily original piece of work.

Although due credit to Quentin, for cleverly and ironically reinventing his chosen film genres, or even virtually turning the genres on their ear, Quentin wasted little time climbing up on the mainstream Hollywood merry-go-round, after "Reservoir Dogs", and it has progressively reflected this observation, in each and every film he has done since then.

Although I have relished every film he has produced, directed and.or written, I'd peg "Reservoir Dogs" as his utmost best!!!

Reservoir Dogs or Kill Bill Volume II.

The diner scene in Reservoir Dogs kills me. Kill Bill Volume II is an excellent movie. Volume I did nothing for me.
