Why do people have to be killed in order to stop or counteract something that can't be stopped like terror. You simply can't completely stop terror as long as there is one person who has a voice or opinion contradictory to what is the norm.

No. A difference of opinion does not justify terror. Those who are subjected to terror have a right to self defense. Want peace? Get the terrorists to accept your doctrine of non- violent protest. And good luck with that.

You are right, war on terror can not be stopped. That's why this war has hidden agendas for profit and stability as the superpower of the world. Why would the US give up its position as the superpower? There are many developing countries in this world that has potential to become a bigger, if not, equal position in world dominance just like the US. One thing that the developing countries need is oil. That is why the US need to make its presence in the Middle East. Example, Iran made one of the biggest business deal with China and guarantee oil to China for the next two decades. The indirect way to limit other countries development is by limiting the amount of oil they will receive. That's why the US wants political influential power in the three neighboring nations, Iraq/Iran/Afghanistan. Those three nations and Saudi Arabia distribute 1/2 of the oil in the world. With that type of political presence in those nations, the US can put an impact on who gets oil and the quantity they get. Capitalism needs new markets to prosper, thats why the US will have to venture in foreign countries to expand and remind as the superpower of the world.

Not nearly soon enough.

We've already found the weapons of mass destruction. We brought them with us. Iraq has had an election, and Saddam is dead. Now the war is between two factions that believe God is on their side. We cannot stop that religious war simply because the people on both sides are not only willing but eager to die for their cause.

I wish the powers that be, Bush, Rice and all, would just let us all know what has to happen for us to declare that we won and come home.

There will always be war somewhere. All throughout history there has been war. Why do you think if this one ends another won't start up right away someplace else?
