All I ever wanted to do too, was be a mom and a wife, but I felt I wasn't ready to be married right out of hs either, so went to a two year college thinking that at least I could get my associates degree and that (general ed requirements) would transfer anywhere I wanted (because it's locked up in a degree) if I wanted to go further in school. As it turned out, I ended up finishing a degree in psych/philos even after i was married, which happened to be a very good thing, as my hubby developed a paralyzing illness and was unable to work.
Maybe you could consider something in daycare or any other interest you may have, and just take it in little steps like I did, then you don't lose anything and can always expand.

While you are in school take an interest inventory (test) and find out what positions you might be interested in . Even if all you want to be is a housewife, it is always good to prepare yourself with a backup plan. Don't put all your eggs in the same basket - and don't be desperate - picking a mate is an important choice not to be taken lightly. My preference for my daughter is wait until you are at least 26 and settled with yourself. People have more stable marriages when they marry later in life. Otherwise you may be at the mercy of someone else later in life. Learn to stand and be steady on your own two feet before you try to dance. Good luck!

⥠Being a housewife might be possible for you a little later in life once you marry & have a child... but that will depend on you & your partners financial situation.
⥠Until then do something you enjoy... if you like photography take a couple classes in that & go to work, if you like typing maybe be a receptionist for awhile, if you like sales go into retail just to get you through.
⥠You have to figure out what you enjoy doing and go for it. Good Luck!

You're not supposed to know what you want to do with your life while you're in high school. Just live life. Explore the world. Read. Experience. Eventually you will know what you want to do. There's no hurry. Whatever you do however, do NOT get married while you're still so young. Wait until you're AT LEAST in your late 20's.

Go to College...as you start classes, meet new people, your hobbies, likes and dislikes will change and you will soon start to find your interests and where you want to go in life....going to college buys you time to figure it all out....thats what I did..just dont major in Psychology, it might be interesting but there is a line of crappy jobs waiting for you in the end. Hope this helps.

Try basing your decision on your hobbies. You can be any thing you set your mind to.
