seems like so many people like rap these days..
i dont know why..but i just dont like it anymore..all the cuss words..and that song party like a rockstar..just keeps repeating..i mean..i dont hate it..its just okay
i like rock and country..oh and also alternative

i think the reason y alot of ppl like rap is cuz they hav a low IQ n it takes then a while to understand something so... the repetitive words helps them understand the song lol. but i like alot of gernes i really like alternative.

I am with you (here's a star for you)!! I liked rap during the 90's, but now it's all just a bunch of FAKE gangsters rapping about bling and grills! Give me a break!! Nowadays, I listen to a little bit of everything (oldies, 80's, rap, alternative, rock, country.. but mixes that I like from back in the day mostly).. I make all my own CDs as to avoid the radio and all the crap that they try and feed you! Hip hop is dead and just generally all music nowadays is at a lower standard!

i personally like country because it's clean, they're songs about life that everyone can realte to, and, the artists usually write the lyrics themselves! other than that, i think classic rock, like the beatles, fleetwood mack, all them, they're awesome, more importantly, they're real (speaking metaphorically if you know what I mean) ---as far as rap goes, i ttly agree! i mean, listen to it, there isn't even singing, half the music is done by a synthesiser (sp?), and more importantly, it's not cultural. people today have turned rap into something it's not, it was originally a blend of cultural interactions that the africans would use basically to sing of life, their religion, what was imprtant to them, it used to be spritual, but now, people have devoured (sp?) it into things that are just wrong, sex, body parts, make-up, more sex, and possesion of girls! hello- we're not an item to be owned, society today has some real issues that go far beyond music and beyond beleif, but, if the world didn't suck, i guess we'd all fall off of it, huh? i think people really need to realize that what many of the listeners are doing are transforming themselves into something that is ludacris and something that should be ridiculed for ever. when people learn the truth, when people open their eyes to all the faults of today's common world, and try to step up to it and help fix it, then the world will be a perfect place. me personally, it's rap crap. straight down to the point.

Haha. I like country. Taylor Swift....Carrie Underwood...Tim McGraw..Keith Urband....they are all great. Country sounds are catchy and require someone who has a real voice. Did you ever notice how country singers are never one-hit-wonders? That's because their music has good quality. Also, country songs don't get tiring after it's been on the radio for a week.

I also like alternative. We have very similar taste in music.
Bands like Hellogoodbye are great. I absoultly love the techno sound.
Rock is good too. But I don't like really heavy metal. I don't want to hear two or three full minutes of a guitar solo.

I totally agree with you on rap. I hate that music. Used to love it when I was a kid and now I just find that it's nothing but cussing and violence. Only rappers I like now are Will Smith and Cowboy Troy and that's just because they don't use fowl language in their lyrics.
My favourite kinds of music now are country, pop and rock.

i listen to everything you can think of. i play guitar and i am way into music. yeah rap has gone way down the drain these days. if you have myspace go seach around for new bands that youhavent heard of and find something new. i am a huge AFI fan along with deftones and stuff like that but i have been known to listen to stuff like jeffree star. so yeah i listen to it all!

I like pop....I agree with you.....Mostly all of the Rap songs reapeat or have bad words in them...And in other types of music the lyrics actually describe how they feel I really like your question...Here's a star for you!
