Amazing grace is to cliche so I don't really know any other "funeral" songs to chose from. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I really am sorry for your loss I know what it means to lose a dad. I'd play something that he liked and if you have special songs you should play them. It is a personal thing but there are some songs that would say it all "you are the wind beneath my wings" or a song from his era like Glenn Miller moonlight serenade take care honey x

First of all, I would like to say you and your family have my thoughts and prayers. It's hard I agree we did it 2 years ago when my brother-in-law died. We played Go Rest High On That Mountain by Vince Gill and another good one is When I Get To Where I'm Going by Brad Paisley

Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry.
A great song would have to be one of your fathers favorites. It will honor his memory. Why does it have to be a funeral song?

I am so very sorry for your loss...I really love the song "I Can Only Imagine" by the group Mercy Me. My husband's aunt played this at her husband's funeral...and it was simply beautiful!

Sometimes a song that he really liked, or one that the family says reminds them of him... can be played....I am so sorry to hear the bad news, I lost my father as well... My condolences to you...and best wishes.

It's about a father passing away and the kid didn't have enough time to say everything he wanted to tell his father. Lovely song.
