Depends on what you mean by equality. Men will always be, on the whole, physically stronger than women and not as involved (because they don't give birth) in the whole process of child rearing. Men don't have to cope with a monthly hormonal cycle that causes their mood and even their intellectual capacity to fluctuate. Nor do they have to go through the menopause. Socially, the sexes have never been more equal, at least in Western countries, but there are physical and psychological differences that no amount of legislation can do away with.

Equality is not the issue. Nor should it be. There are too many subjective variables -- And what is it, that we men and women are suppose to be measuring? The measurement of gender equality seems, to me, more a mask for bias than a quest. The question is, rather, will there ever be balance.

No, I really doubt it. I'm sure women will still progress further, but I think there's going to be cases of men having the "upper-hand" in some cases and also on the opposite side for women. It's hard when even now in this day and age, people are asking if the US is ready for a woman or minority President. When that still has to be a question, it's hard to imagine just how much we are going to progress from here...

There are differing actual constraints which make this impossible(which we can overlook approximately until a a million/2 semester intercourse ed classification the place we tell human beings to no longer procreate). There are differing social constraints which additionally make this impossible(which we can overlook approximately and demand numerical equality, boys and girls each and everything could tournament, if there's a women knitting circle there could be a boys knitting circle, if there's a boys soccer team there could be a women soccer team to %. some college appropriate variations). that's a million/2 of the "feminism" which has taken over. it truly is not in basic terms seen with intercourse, this form of outlook is present day for many "disenfranchised" training, such as non secular, racial, and others. regrettably this leaves many human beings at the back of via no longer playing to individual strengths on the inspiration that there's no longer an opposing set of human beings with comparable strengths and finally leads to confusion which incorporate "a woman will pay her way" whilst on the comparable time "a guy who won't %. up the examine is a cheapscate." for people who have not dated in a whilst, I see this with doorways many times. a guy is anticipated to open the door for a woman, whether they have in no way met, yet whilst that woman is a "liberated woman" she is in basic terms as probably to take the door being held as an insult. confident. understand adult males and girls are diverse, and stay with this. It potential that persistence should be seen with bulk power, that social, actual, and psychological skills could remember as diverse yet equivalent, that alterations could be ACTIVELY known and the alterations right here could be good for society. understand the alterations! and cater to them. adequate rant, sorry it truly is previous due.

There is equality, males and females are different not better or worse than each other.
If you mean in the work place, probably, but I suspect in the long run, that females will get more opportunities, than males.
Just thinking how females have gained in previously male roles, but men haven't moved into traditionally female roles.

Of course not.
Equality under the law is the best we can hope for...but lots of people (both men and women) don't really want that, for various reasons. Some because they want preferential treatment, some because they want to continue to discriminate...
