By nature, men are competitive. They want to be the best, the biggest, etc. During puberty, they may see or hear of other boys changing, and they may be uncomfortable if it is not happening to them. Some girls concern themselves with breast size, but a majority are all concerned about their weight, general appearance, face, and so on. Its a part of growing up.

Because when a boy goes through puberty, they don't know what to expect and what is normal. Most men are uncomfortable and insecure with the size of their penis. Just the same as why woman are concerned about their breast sizes.

I think it's a combination of all the spam pushing herbs and gimmicks to make them bigger (none of which do, of course) and the occasional sadistic woman who comes here and complains about the size of her man's penis (for which the proper response is the old joke: "My goodness, I had no idea you had such a small organ!" "Well, I didn't expect to be playing it in Carnegie Hall!"). Mine is small and I never obsessed over size at that age. But then I wasn't exposed to the Internet 24/7 or to on-line porn.

Because, well, I'm a virgin but I've done things for boys. One friend who is 16, his is 5 1/2 inches, but sort of thick at the base.
My other friend, who is 15, his is 8 inches, and nicely thick all over.
So I guess they have reason, 'cause his is much bigger. A guy one year younger than him has a penis 3 inches bigger and thicker. How sad. This is when erect, btw.
I'm so glad I don't have to worry about such things, lol.

I think that girls are generally more "content" with breast size than guys are with penis size..probably because they think that girls will not want them if their thing isn't big enough

Probably from watching porn. Most of the male porn stars are " heavily endowed." Plus, I think it's natural to wonder "How much more will it grow?" since they're in that growing spurt phase.
