Not a Badgers fan, but Wiscy will surprise a lot of people. I mean the Big 10 member of the capital one bowl has always been at least decent the last five years. There one loss last year was to the Wolverines! (I'm a Michigan State fan in case your wondering). The Wolverines were ranked #6 at the time. The one veteran they lost was OL Joe Thomas and that will screw them just a little bit. Arkansas and Auburn will be some more surprises. Darren McFadden will come up with another good year and if they can find a consistent QB they'll beat Florida and Sugar Bowl, if not NC for them! Auburn will rival Arkansas and might get their shot at the Sugar bowl. Be ready to see action from USC, California and at least one other Pac-10 team and right there you have a shot at the Rose Bowl!

I say South Carolina Gamecocks! They will win the SEC this year and go for it all!! West Virginia is that a joke? They have a clear path to the top ten! Come play in the SEC and see how they do!! Everyone bragged on how Ohio State was the best team how they were going to beat Florida and they really only played maybe 3 or 4 good teasm anyway! Florida was the secaond best team in the SEC and still chomped the buckeyes!! The gamecocks only lost to Florida by 1 point! I say Gamecocks take it all! The next national champion will be from the SEC!!!

USC, just because they have so much talent on that team i dont see how they wont be the best team in college football this year. Maybe they will fall on there faces but i think they will be pretty good.

Remember Florida demolishing Ohio State? Remember Auburn going undefeated a few years ago and not getting a shot at the title, while OU got killed by USC? The SEC is the best conference in the college game but all we ever hear about are USC and Big 10 schools! Don't get me wrong, USC is a great team every year. I just remember the guys at ESPN comparing them to all of the best teams in the history of college football and they had USC winning every single game by a considerable margin. For those of you that remember, this was promptly followed by USC losing to Texas. Just because USC plays an NFL-style offense with more future NFL players than any other team, people pick them to win every year. They went up against the best college quarterback I've ever seen, Vince Young, playing a college style offense, and got beaten, even though everyone (outside of Texas) "knew" USC was going to win.
The best team this year will be a team from the SEC. It may be Auburn or Florida. The teams that the BCS will say are the best will be USC and probably a Big 10 school.
My pick for best team next year is Texas. They've got a very talented, young quarterback and a good running game. If they can put together a better secondary they should be pretty darn good.

If Va Tech can get past LSU then they will hopefully setup a showdown with USC. After they got robbed by them a couple of years ago, offensive pass interference, (when is that ever called) it would be great to see the two teams in the Championship game. Unfortunately I still think that with the amount of talent that you have at USC and a GREAT headcoach they will win it.

The best team this year in no particular order USC, LSU, MICH, TEX, WEST V. But USC vs. LSU in the final. And USC will win it because too much defense and too much offense. Oh and they have a returning quarter back in John D Booty. LSU have to start a new Q.B.

I'd have to say USC, who are likely starting at number one and should have a lot of games under their belts before they run into any serious competition. I'm a Michigan fan myself, but after the drubbing they took from USC in the bowl last year, I'm hard pressed to explain why it wouldn't happen again.

USC for sure. If they make it to the big show I hope they face and SEC team. Thats only if the SEC teams can get past their D1-AA Teams.
