We tried for 4 years. After lots of research and many many many neg. pregnancy tests I found a herb that worked for us. But, you aren't considered to have an infertility problem until you have been trying for at least 12 month's.

I think the reason you are frustrated is because you are still with an OB/GYN. OB/GYN are general female health doctors and not fertility specialists. It is like going to your general practitioner when you are getting treated fro cancer...it might work, but you'd rather go to an expert who fully understands the field and knows about current research and breakthroughs.

I have heard from a lot of women who get frustrated with their OB/GYNs who are much happier when they go to Reproductive Endocrinologist and get answers and results quickly.

If you are working under a time limit, the best thing to do is get really aggressive about your treatment. Ask around or do some internet searching for fertility clinics in your area. You can have the tests your OB/GYN performed sent over, and hopefully your new doctor can start you on a really proactive course of treatment to get you pregnant as soon as possible.

I know how stressful your situation must be, and I truly hope you will get your dream baby soon.

Acupuncture. Swear by it! Seen it work on 2 families that had given up. Also, they say if you adopt or look into it...it eases the stress, which makes it easier to concieve. My girlfriend decided to adopt and then had 3 other children naturally. And well this might be an old wives tale but my sister swears that its all about the big O!
(It may not be true but at least it would be fun trying) One more thing..after...don't pee!

I too have been ttc since november, my luteal phase is not long enough(has to be at least 10 days) so I have been taking vitex and b6 to extent this half of my cycle ( the part after you ovulate). Hopefully by Aug this will help, since it takes 2-3 mths of these to work. You might want to start charting your bbt (your temp when you first wake up) then see if you are ovulating and how long your luteal phase is.

It took us 18 months to conceive and believe me it won't happen on demand. I am vey sorry for your situation but you must ease up on yourself. The best way to try though is to check your ovulation time. If your cycle is 28 days then you should ovulate on day 14. This is the time to have sex and stay laying down even elevate your abdomen after to aid the swimmers :o) Good luck but try and relax.

Have you used ovulation tests? I use those and they work well. Have sex everyother day after your peirod ends and when you get a positive result have sex 3 days in a row. Don't use lubricants and remain on your back for 30 minutes with your hips elevated. Good luck.
