I just mail-ordered one from amazon.com.
Make sure you get the right watts, and they
have boxes you can read on amazon to see if your computer model is compatible with the adapters.
Mine was just about $29 and Best Buy had it for $119 !!!
Mine's an HP, but just type in the search box:
laptop ac adapters

seem on the returned of the adapter and consider enter the voltage variety. it may say some thing like: one hundred-240 Volts. If it purely says one hundred or a hundred and twenty, then you definately are probable overpowering it. this is no longer too probable considering maximum of those for the previous some years have been waiting to guard voltages different than the U.S. a hundred and ten. Many different international locations use 220 or 240 Volts. If the variety covers the 240, then your computing gadget has a fault and that's drawing too plenty present day. this could make the adapter get warm sufficient to soften the plug. in case you do no longer purely right this difficulty with the computing gadget, this is going to proceed to overload the adapter and it will burn out as did the 1st one.
