I got to support my lifestyle so I'll go to work and finish up my obligations rather than attending a wedding dinner with bunch of people I don't wish to see. Saturday evening or not my career is more important than my social life.

i'll tell the people at the wedding dinner who i really don't want to see that i have to work, so sorry, and tell my boss i have to attend the wedding dinner, i'm in the wedding or something like that, really sorry, then i'll take off and go and do what i really want to do with my bases covered!

Go do the work. When I'm done. I'll do something I like. If it's too late, I'm ahead on the work anyway & can enjoy free time tomorrow. It's a good feeling when you get some work cleared away. It's not hanging over your head.

Wedding dinner. Because who knows? you might meet someone there but at least you won't be looking at facts and figures on a date night!

I would choose the wedding dinner...I mean, yeah, you're going to have to endure those people that you don't want to be bothered with, yet if it's a prior engagement where someone is going to suspect you to be there, I wouldn't ditch it.

If you are invited to a wedding dinner you should go and support the bride and groom. It isn't really about who you want to see.
