We live together and although he has paid the first month's rent, he's not very concerned about how he will help me pay rent in the future. I just graduated from college and am working 3 jobs to pay the bills until grad school and since he hasn't graduated yet, he's taking classes still, but doesn't have a job and doesn't seem to be concerned about it. What do I do??!!!

Send out resumes for him. This way if they call, he has no excuse for not looking.

Kick that loser to the curb and fast! He sounds lazy and just wants a second mother to take care of him. You need to wake up and realize you are worth a lot more than this guy can ever give you. If you are working 3 jobs, congratulations to you for being so ambitious! You will do well in life.

Seriously, though... just talk to him, and tell him it would help you out a lot. Make sure he feels like he is doing a lot of work, but that you are so proud of him. Encourage him. Maybe he's stressed too. Just take it easy on him. If he is working hard in school, and doing all he can...
However, my first statement stands if he is just being lazy.

I told mine that if he doesn't get a job within two weeks I was gone! It worked. He had a job in about a week and a half. It didn't pay much, but now he got a better one, and I lost mine and I am collecting unemployment. So it worked out

Am a man in i gotta b real with you,he's not going to look for a job cause u takin care of him.In what type of relationship do u guys have if u have a man that's not concerne regarding how ur needs.In obviously he's unresponsible.if u was my sis i would have to tell u put ur foot down or move out...

Give him an ultimatum. Even if you love him so much, what he's doing to you is not fair, he's not your child and you could do so much better alone.
If he doesn't grow up and take some responsibilities, if he has goals but expect for you to take him where he wants to get, he is not somebody who's willing to give in a relationship as much as you are. Is he worth it?

tell him you need him to get a job and help pay the bills.
if you can go to school and work 3 jobs the he sure can get of his butt and get one too. there is no reason why you should pull all the weight in this relationship.
if he not willing to help id say leave.

If he doesn't pay up next month, boot his @ss out the door. Plain and simple. If you're working that much and he isn't stepping up to help then he isn't worth having. Plain and simple, moochers do nothing but use you until they are done with you.

Give him 30 days to get a job or get out. Period. Your pride and self-worth are more important than a blood-sucking mooch. You're not raising a child, you're ENABLING an adult!
