I am having my 5th baby and I am 24 weeks. Either my baby is starting to make me more uncomfortable when he moves or I am already having them. My back is starting to hurt too...yuck! =)

I have four children. With my last pregnancy I had contractions every single hour from 25 weeks on, and I never had any with my other 3 pregnancies ever until the end. They increased to about every 30 minutes when I was 34 weeks, then every 15 minutes at 37 weeks. My son was born 4 days early and my contractions never got closer then 7 minutes apart, so I am sure that after 4 babies yourself you know not to wait until contractions are 5 minutes apart to go to the hospital like they tell you. If I had my son would have been born at home!

I started very early like 20 weeks..... but just be careful once you get towards the end.... I thought I was having braxton hicks and then two hours later I had my baby...

I really only remember stretching and back pain. My Braxton Hicks did not start till the first part of my 9th month with all 3 of mine. However - you might be in for 'back labor' -- oh God, I hope not!!! That is worse than regular labor. Just try and imagine a back ache that just gets worse and worse. Hopefully, you just twisted or strained something.

I guess I had mine early or I knew how to recognize them. With my first one, I started having Braxton Hicks at three months along. With the later pregnancies, I noticed them at eight weeks.
