It is a human right. Jefferson made that clear when he inserted "pursuit of happiness" into the declaration of independence, and when he wrote the Fifth Amendment to include life, liberty and property as protected interests.
Jahpson: the Bill of Rights protects our basic human rights as Americans. Those rights include our property.

Do you mean property?
There is the law where if you own property and some big corporation wants it, they can come along and make you sell your property to them and the law is on their side.
I think that stinks!

Because the property was there before you were. By claiming exclusive use of it, you are denying somebody else use of it.
The right to screw people isn't something people are in a hurry to endorse.

In the US our rights are outlined in the Constitution. We have the right to own property, if we pay for it.
