"Dear It's gonna be all right,

It may not actually be all right,
Since my Car - ma
Just Ran over your Dog - ma,

Gotta get that headlight fixed...Sorry!"

I don't think so maybe you want to prove that to me, I think it is your propaganda that is getting run over and if it takes 12-15-100-1000-10,000 to do it then so be it, I win I always win.

"It could save your life, so it's probably worth giving it a go - our beliefs do shape and influence our results, including those of our health."

I don't understand how could having a car run over you save your life? I think that is just the opposite, that is why I did not listen to them, I think that they lie to me and others?

Ask them to demonstrate. Tell them you'll be the driver.

Everything in life requires a test to prove if something is true or false, in this case, perform thought experiments. How many times have you seen a dead animal on the road that was run over by a vehicle and lived to tell the tale? Or, an average car weighs 3000 pounds, and someone laid the equivalent weight of ten refrigerators on top of you would you survive? Or, drive your car over the person who suggested that and record the result. This is all said assuming you are serious....of course. Some have survived being run over by a car but there is no guarantee you will.

It could save your life, so it's probably worth giving it a go - our beliefs do shape and influence our results, including those of our health.

I tend to believe that there are few 'shoulds' musts' etc. that we should adopt from other people's opinions though - they can keep you in a psychological straight jacket, never really feeling free to be yourself.

It's important to decide for ourselves what our values are, and also what beliefs and opinions we wish to hold - they are after all enablers towards the lives that we wish to live.

Hope these quick reflections help.

Good luck! Rob

You should be open-minded to the possibility. But if you just accept as true anything anyone tells you, then you are inviting disaster.

There are some people whose reason I trust enough that I would believe them right off. But certainly not just ANY someone!

just because it runs you over does not mean for certain you are going to die.Depends on the speed and bumper on the car etc.My friend was run over by a transit van once and he lived but i also know someone hit by a car and died.It depends on alot of circumstances at the time plus hopefully a bit of luck on your side.

I believe little without proof, and this has proven itself to be unknown until the event takes place. Although, I'd still prefer to be a spectator.
