Thanks in advance! -Also, if any of you have gone to the San Diego Sea World, was it worth it and what other good attractions do think are in that area??? Thanks once again!

You should definately gamble - I mean that IS the main attraction and the reason Vegas exists. But there are tons of other things to do in that city:

1. Drink at clubs and lounges - RAIN (PALMS casino) and PURE (Caesar's Palace) are amongst the best two clubs with the best dance floors, decor, and setup. You can drink all night and day in vegas (no last call in Vegas!)

2. If you're into rides, then the roller coaster at NEWYORK NEWYORK casino is the best roller coaster in Vegas. There is also the Big Shot and INSANITY rides atop of the Stratosphere Casino (with the best views in the city, as good as a helicopter view).

3. Eat at buffets and other great restaurants. Buffets like Bellagio's or Wynn's have trancended the common buffet of stale food. They serve gourmet dishes like Kobe beef and hand made desserts. Great food, good service, clean and fun atmosphere. You'll definately enjoy this.

4. Watch the sunrise by staying up all night and partying and then seeing the drunks and broke gamblers barely make it back to their hotel rooms in the early morning. It is the quietiest time in Vegas, and a little relaxing. You can really see how Vegas can ruin you for those that you see are completely distraught over losing - but its a good way to keep your sanity while you there.

5. Go swimming and treat yourself to a massage. This will be fun. When you get out of the pool, you can feel the heat radiating on your back and your feet will feel warmer than getting out of the pool anywhere else. It feels good, and then getting a massage later will be the perfect way to settle into a fun night. Something about swimming in the heat as the sun is going down in the Vegas desert is relaxing and calming.

6. You can shop at the FORUM in Caesar's Palace or the Passage at the Hollywood Planet Casino. They have the widest selection and the nicest shops.

7. You can watch the fountains at Bellagio, the Fremont Street Light Show in downtown, and catch a Cirque Du Soleil show (such as KA at MGM Grand or 'O' at Bellagio - those are my favorite). Just enjoy yourself and have fun, dont plan out every little thing.

As far as Sea World in San Diego goes - its the best marine/animal park I've ever been too. The people really know their stuff about animals and are very helpful. The place is HUGE and there is so much to see and show ranging from Orcas/Killer whales to Dolphins and Tigers. Plus, there is areas where you can interact with the animals and an aquarium for the water animals. Love that place, and if you like animals you will too.

Lucky you, have fun - wish I was going too. Hope this helps

If you've never been to Las Vegas, take a walking tour of the Strip. Just walk from hotel to hotel, visiting the shops (like Caesars Palace, M&M world) and looking at the scenery. It's a good way to introduce yourself to Las Vegas and to take pictures with Elvis impersonators. There are several mini-theme parks, like the one in New York, New York, MGM studios, and Adventure Dome at Circus Circus.

Go to Circus Circus and watch the free circus acts and play the cheap yet fun games, just to win yourself a giant stuffed polar bear.

There's also many shows, but are expensive: The O at Bellagio and magic shows.

If you have time, there's a Red Rock Canyon National Area about 15 minutes away from Las Vegas. It's a $10 (if I remember correctly) entrance fee, but provides an amazing scenic loop through the park. It's a nice change of pace when you're going crazy in Las Vegas.

It's going to be hot in Las Vegas this time of year. Bring sunscreen and a hat.

You might like the Elvis Pressley Museum, they also have a great oldies car show, if you like cars. It's really great. Don't forget to eat at the buffets, they are great also. Don't spend your money on foolish things and junk you will take home and never look at again. Take a camera and take some pictures. Or buy some really good post cards. Mostly, have a good time.

Assuming 13 isn't your age, go to the carnival carousel outside at Harrah's. Great bar! You can spend as little or as much as you like.
