it's not just that, but that the whole world absolutely depends on where middle class working americans SPEND THEIR MONEY.
as a group, middle class americans have more impact on how the world moves and lives than any other single group, but to look at corporations and political leaders, you'd never know it.
if and when the constantly pressured american working middle class goes away, shrinks or loses it's financial clout, it will plunge the entire world into a depression the likes of which we have never seen.
henry ford was an absolute genius when he decided that those who work for him also NEEDED to be his customers.
today's corporations rely on the american consumer more than ever.
and literally no one is out there looking out for the middle class, tax paying american worker.
in the last congress there was a bill that stated that corporations that did not have their headquarters located in the usa, would no longer be eligible for government contracts.
republicans defeated it and made sure that it never saw the light of day - one really has to ask why...

Isn't it wonderful how well you have been educated in Marxism, socialism and communism. Wasn't that a big line in in the communist mantra " the worker" this and "the worker" that. Here is a free market lesson; businesses and corporations do not exist to give workers jobs they exist to provide profit to the owners and share holders. Many little people like me depend on the profits of their holdings and people like you want to take that away. I also depend on those evil rich people to buy stuff from the business where I work so I can feed my family.

Because Corporations are extremely highly taxed by the government, but gain money from the government in the form of subsidies when they outsource. This allows the corporations to produce the products that consumers want at prices that consumers will pay. It helps keep costs down, which aids in fighting inflation. Yes, they DO pay taxes. They have a much higher tax rate than ANY individual, approaching 50% in some jurisdictions. Of course, many of you will completely ignore what I said and instead call me all sorts of derogatory names, but I am secure in the fact that I have told the truth.

It's a smoke screen. It's like when businesses say, "I pay taxes and create jobs."
Well, try not paying taxes and see what happens. The IRS takes a dim view of tax evaders for some weird reason.
And as far as creating jobs, try operating a manufacturing plant without workers.
Sort of like trying to clap with one hand.

Yes can keeping corporation here keeps the jobs here.
That was Kerry's big line in the last election.
So what smart idea is it to raise the taxes on them so they leave somewhere else to make their products. They take the jobs with them.
Is that a win win or lose lose.
Corporation offer jobs what kind of jobs does a welfare mom offer?

I guess the same place we would be without jobs.... Because of our free market, YOU can make whatever profit you are willing to work for...... How would you feel if you were told that in your lifetime you can only make "X" amount and at no time can you try and make more to better your way of life , because anything over that amount belonged to the government.... welcome to socialism if that is how you wish to live..

if you pressure businesses too much, they'll simply move their businesses elsewhere. This is a free country, even to those evil corporations that you know, outsource. So when you complain you have to realize that they are easily able to move their businesses to other countries if you try to tax them to death.
