if your cool with your next door neighbor during the day go over to their house and tell them about their dog ask them if there is anyway that they can get the dog to stop barking

I would open the window and look out to see what the dog was barking at. If nothing, then I would probably yell at it to stop barking.

Ask the owners to do something about it, if it continues, date,time and record the dog barking, then turn in a complaint to the city , with complaints made, if the dog continues to bark they will remove it.Good luck...I hate barky/yippy dogs with owners that don't care!

I would talk to the neighboors about the problem. See if they can move the dog inside or put him in a place where he won't see anything to bark at.
You might also try switching rooms, or try turning your tv on or radio on to block out the sound.
Also, if you live in a neighboorhood there might be noise laws like in our neighboorhood, in which you can call the cops.

Ear plugs. Those foam thingies you squeeze down and stuff into your ears. They work on bad music too. One of my neighbors has a song that sounds like someone trying to learn to play bass guitar. And he plays it CONSTANTLY.

I would ask them to keep it quiet,if that did'nt work I'd call the cops. And when I knew they was asleep I'd make alot of noise, so they could see how it feels.

tell them. if you are trying to sleep then you need to tell them that they need to get rid of the dog. unless you sleep in the middle of the day, the its your problem.

ask the owners whether they can quiet him down (maybe there's something wrong with him); if they can't, i guess u'll just have to find some way to tune it out. If you're desperate enough, you could call the cops (I don't know what they could do about it, but...)...
